

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended a special event at GMR Aerospace Park in Shamshabad and flagged off the Vikram-1 rocket developed by Skyroot Aerospace. Minister Sridhara Babu was also present at the event. The Chief Minister inspected the aerospace facilities and appreciated the progress made by the company in the space sector.
During the event, Revanth Reddy spoke about the importance of skill development in advanced sectors like aerospace. He mentioned that a Skill University is being established with Anand Mahindra as the chairman of the board. He said that the university will help provide trained manpower required for industries like aerospace and will bring all skill-based education under one system.
He also stated that the government is working to improve education standards by updating course content and infrastructure. ITIs are being upgraded into advanced training centers with support from the Tata Group. The government is spending around ₹1.08 lakh per student to improve education quality and ensure better opportunities for the youth.
