Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the crowd management and facilities for devotees at the Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple on the occasion of the Brahmotsavams. The review was conducted with the participation of ministers, the State Chief Secretary, DGPs and other officials and was overseen remotely from Delhi. The Chief Minister thoroughly examined the measures taken by officials and the district administration, as well as the arrangements made for the convenience of devotees.
Anticipating a further increase in crowd size by Shivaratri, CM Chandrababu Naidu directed that stringent arrangements be put in place. He suggested that Endowments Minister Anam and Home Minister Anita personally monitor the preparations and facilities for devotees. The Chief Minister emphasized that arrangements should ensure that devotees from distant areas can complete their darshan without inconvenience and that accommodations and other facilities are organized efficiently.
The Chief Minister also instructed that no devotee, who has undertaken rigorous penances or carried ceremonial garlands to reach the temple, should be disrespected or inconvenienced. He directed that comprehensive plans be prepared daily in response to the growing crowd at temples. For major occasions such as the Shivaratri festival, all departments should function in complete coordination, and the State Chief Secretary, Vijayanand, should begin immediate monitoring to ensure smooth operations.
