Buses Torched, Houses Pelted With Stones !

Tension prevailed in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, following an attack on a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader, which triggered violent clashes in several parts of the city. Agitated mobs took to the streets, set multiple buses on fire, and pelted stones at residential houses, causing panic among local residents.

To prevent further escalation, the Ujjain police imposed prohibitory orders and deployed additional security forces across sensitive areas. Authorities stated that strict action would be taken against those involved in violence and appealed to the public to maintain peace. Officials confirmed that the situation is currently under control and continuous monitoring is underway.
