Superstar Rajinikanth’s 173rd film continues to remain uncertain as multiple changes surround the project. After completing Jailer 2 with director Nelson Dilipkumar, the actor was expected to move on to a film produced by Kamal Haasan. Initially, director Sundar C was attached to the project, and even initial ceremonies were held. However, he reportedly stepped away due to dissatisfaction with the script.

Later, Cibi Chakaravarthi was said to be on board, but recent social media buzz suggests he too may have exited the project. Now, reports indicate that Ashwath Marimuthu could take over as director, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
