In a surprising development, reports suggest that Meta Platforms is exploring the idea of an AI-powered “CEO-like” presence, raising speculation about a virtual counterpart to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The company is said to be working on photorealistic, 3D AI characters capable of real-time communication, mimicking Zuckerberg’s voice, expressions, and messaging. This initiative is reportedly aimed at ensuring seamless communication within the organization, even in his absence, as Meta accelerates its expansion in artificial intelligence.
According to international media reports, Zuckerberg himself is actively training and testing his AI version, dedicating several hours weekly. Alongside this, Meta is also developing a “CEO Agent” project to enhance decision-making and information flow. While the company is heavily investing in AI tools and automation to stay ahead of competitors like OpenAI and Google, concerns are rising among employees about potential job cuts. Although Meta maintains that these initiatives are focused on skill development, recent reports of layoffs across multiple divisions have added to the uncertainty.
