NASA’s Artemis-2 mission has successfully returned to Earth after completing its journey around the Moon. The capsule carrying four astronauts safely splashed down at 5:38 AM near the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California. The mission marks an important milestone in deep space exploration and future lunar missions, confirming the success of the 10-day space journey.
The astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—returned safely after completing the mission. The spacecraft re-entered Earth’s atmosphere and landed smoothly in the Pacific Ocean as planned. The successful completion of Artemis-2 strengthens NASA’s plans for future lunar exploration and long-duration human space missions beyond Earth orbit.
