

The Economic Times, one of India’s leading national newspapers, has announced its prestigious award for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu this year. In recognition of his pro-business policies, industrial reforms, and success in attracting large-scale investments to the state, he has been selected as the ‘Business Reformer of the Year’.
The award will be presented at a special ceremony scheduled in March, where Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will formally confer the honour on the Chief Minister.
The selection was made by a high-level jury comprising eminent industrialists, economists, and legal experts. Members of the jury include Sunil Bharti Mittal (Bharti Group), Sajjan Jindal (JSW Group), Uday Kotak (Kotak Mahindra Bank), Dr. Devi Shetty (Narayana Health), senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Noel Tata (Tata Trusts). Deloitte served as the advisory body to the jury.
In previous years, the award has been presented to prominent leaders such as Ashwini Vaishnaw (2024), S. Jaishankar (2023), Nirmala Sitharaman (2021), Devendra Fadnavis (2019), Arun Jaitley (2017), and Piyush Goyal (2015).
Several political leaders, industry representatives, and cabinet colleagues extended their congratulations to CM Chandrababu Naidu on receiving this prestigious recognition.
