The Central Government is set to introduce major changes in LPG usage regulations across the country. From June 1, strict action will be taken against households holding both PNG (Piped Natural Gas) and LPG connections under the “One Family – One Connection” policy. The government aims to enforce the rule more strictly to streamline gas distribution.
Despite the rapid expansion of PNG connections, LPG usage has not declined as expected, raising concerns among authorities. Many households have been found using both services simultaneously. Officials have warned that LPG supply may be disconnected or connections cancelled if users fail to comply within the stipulated deadline.
