

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has unveiled the teaser for the new Tamil film 'Jockey', touted as the 'first ever goat fight movie'. Produced by PK7 Studios, the film is set in the rural backdrop of Madurai. The teaser was launched during the 13th edition of the Chennai Street Festival.
After the 2021 film 'Maddi', PK7 Studios has once again collaborated with director Dr. Pragabhal for this project. Prem Krishnadas, C. Devadas, and Jaya Devadas are producing the film. Yuvan Krishna, Ridhaan Krishnas, and Ammu Abhirami play the lead roles, while Shakthi Balaji has composed the music.
The story of 'Jockey' revolves around the traditional goat fights held in villages. To capture these fight sequences naturally, the film unit spent three years in the Madurai region ensuring authenticity. The actors trained with real goats for their roles. Through this film, rural life, traditional sports, and people's emotions will be portrayed realistically to the audience.
