Dulquer Salmaan Reveals Why He Signed Aakasamlo Oka Tara Without the Title Role

Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan has revealed an interesting reason behind signing his upcoming film Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni. Speaking at a recent promotional event, the actor said he heard the story even before the shooting of Lucky Baskhar began, and its central idea stayed with him. Although he is not playing the title character, Dulquer said he agreed to be part of the project without hesitation. The main role is being played by Satvika Veeravalli, while Shruti Haasan is also part of the cast.

Explaining his decision, Dulquer said the film revolves around the dreams and aspirations of daughters and conveys the confidence that women can achieve their goals in any field. He believes the story will connect with families. Music director GV Prakash Kumar also praised the film, describing it as one of the best scripts he has heard in the last five years. He added that composing the background score for the final reel moved him emotionally. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Swapna Cinemas, Geetha Arts and Light Box, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 20.
