

Rocking Star Yash’s Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has completed its censor formalities ahead of its August 26, 2026 release. The action thriller, produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after certain dialogue changes and disclaimers, with no cuts reportedly made.
Set against a period backdrop in Goa, the story revolves around power struggles, betrayal, drugs and mafia networks. Yash plays Raya and Rumi, while Nayanthara portrays his sister Ganga and Kiara Advani plays Nadia. The story explores Raya’s battles, his relationship with Nadia and his conflict with Ganga, along with the roles played by Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
According to the reported censor review, Toxic has a runtime of 3 hours and 14 minutes, or 194 minutes. The film’s performances, emotional sequences and action elements have reportedly impressed the censor panel. Yash’s chemistry with Kiara Advani and his emotional scenes with Nayanthara are said to be among the highlights, while the performances of Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are also expected to add to the film’s appeal.
