The technology sector continues to face challenges from economic uncertainty, slower IT spending and rapid developments in artificial intelligence. Despite these pressures, Infosys reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,769 crore for the April–June quarter. Employees across JL4, JL5 and JL6 levels were reportedly assessed under different performance categories for bonus payouts. Meanwhile, employees are awaiting clarity on salary hikes. JL4 and JL5 employees may receive salary revisions in the coming months, while hikes for JL6 and above could be announced in January 2027, according to reports.
