Veligonda Project Inauguration Date Fixed

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the Veligonda Project will be inaugurated on August 31. Sharing his thoughts on X, the Chief Minister said that a commitment he made 30 years ago is now being fulfilled. He described the project as a major step towards providing water and driving development in the region.

Chandrababu said the project would help address irrigation and drinking water needs in western Prakasam. He reiterated his goal of ensuring water for every farmer, employment opportunities for youth and greater security for families. The Chief Minister also said that providing piped drinking water to households in western Prakasam and finding a permanent solution to the fluoride problem would be among the key benefits of the project.
