Star actress Samantha is gearing up for the release of her ambitious female-oriented film Maa Inti Bangaram, which she is producing under her own banner along with Raj Nidimoru. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on June 19 after facing multiple delays. As part of the promotional campaign, Samantha recently shared a selfie video and revealed an interesting detail about the project's early development.

According to Samantha, the film was not originally designed for her. She revealed that the makers initially planned to cast Sai Pallavi in the lead role when the project was conceived as a female-centric film. However, due to Sai Pallavi’s busy schedule and date issues, the script was modified to suit Samantha. She expressed confidence that Maa Inti Bangaram would inspire more actresses to take up strong female-led roles in the future.
