Akhil Akkineni's ‘Lenin’ emerged as a successful film, with director Murali Kishor Abburu earning praise for his presentation. Actress Bhagyashri played the female lead, while music composer S. Thaman received appreciation for his songs and background score. In a recent interview, Thaman revealed that the makers had initially planned to include a special item song in the film and that he had already composed a lively Rayalaseema-style track for Akhil.
Thaman said the team had considered featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, Kayadu Lohar, or Preeti Mukundan in the song. However, the makers ultimately decided to drop it, believing it would interrupt the film's narrative and invite negative reviews. The composer admitted he was disappointed by the decision and even left a few WhatsApp groups out of frustration. His remarks have now become a topic of discussion among film enthusiasts.
