

Marvel’s much awaited Spider Man: Brand New Day has opened to a sensational response at the box office. Starring Tom Holland, the film collected ₹60.60 crore net in India on its opening day, setting new records. On the second day, the movie continued its strong run, earning an estimated ₹49.35 crore across 16,902 shows. The film has now grossed around ₹131.46 crore in India, with net collections touching ₹109.95 crore in just two days.
The film has surpassed the opening day records of Avatar: The Way of Water and Avengers: Endgame in India and is giving tough competition to The Odyssey and Jana nayagan in theatres. Trade analysts expect the movie to cross the ₹200 crore mark in India during its opening weekend. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the fourth Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Tramell Tillman in key roles.
