Shivarajkumar is making his entry into Hindi cinema with Original Monster, directed by R. Chandru. The film is being made in both Kannada and Hindi. Following his remarks, several social media users objected to the description of Hindi as India’s national language, pointing out that the country does not have a national language and that all officially recognised languages deserve equal respect. Some Kannada cultural voices have also questioned the comments, arguing that a prominent actor from the Kannada film industry should be more careful while speaking about language-related issues.
