Expectations are soaring for ‘Toxic: A FairyTale for Grown-Ups,’ the sensational action drama starring Rocking Star Yash, as exciting updates continue to emerge. Recently, the makers unveiled the look poster of Rukmini Vasanth, who is introduced as Melissa in the film, creating significant buzz among audiences. Her confident, authoritative and fearless appearance in the poster has drawn widespread attention. The addition of Rukmini Vasanth to the Yash–Geetu Mohandas combination has further enhanced the film’s appeal. The team believes that her ability to understand the emotional depth and seriousness of the story and deliver a natural, powerful performance adds strong value to the narrative.
The film also features Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Nayanthara as Ganga and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca in key roles. The character looks released earlier received an encouraging response and with the reveal of Rukmini Vasanth’s look, the story world appears even richer and more layered. Set in the late 1960s, the narrative introduces Melissa during a party sequence in a dimly lit environment, highlighting her confidence, clarity of purpose and commanding presence. By presenting each character with distinct individuality, the film expands its emotional scope and cinematic depth.
Yash and Geetu Mohandas have jointly developed the story, with Geetu Mohandas directing the project. The film is being simultaneously shot in English and Kannada and will be dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages, generating strong international anticipation. National Award winner Rajeev Ravi handles cinematography, Ravi Basrur composes the music, while action sequences are designed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry (John Wick fame) along with National Award-winning duo Anbariv. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, during a long festive weekend.
