Recently, actress Rukmini Vasanth encountered a disturbing online problem. She disclosed that someone was using a random mobile number to pose as her, and she even made the number public to alert everyone. Rukmini was adamant that this was cybercrime and that she had already dealt with it. In a clear, composed, and slightly worried tone, she also advised people to get in touch with her or her team directly if they ever received suspicious messages.
Shriya Saran experienced a similar circumstance shortly after Rukmini's warning. Shriya responded to a screenshot of a phony profile that was impersonating her in her own unique way, which was frank, sardonic, and a little funny. She referred to the impersonator as a "idiot" and questioned why anyone would spend time on such a meaningless endeavor. She added her signature humor by joking that the only positive aspect was that the impostor was messaging people she genuinely hopes to collaborate with in the future.
These incidents demonstrate how widespread online impersonation has become in the business. Before anyone can verify the truth, phony accounts appear overnight and begin to deceive people. All Rukmini and Shriya want is for their followers and coworkers to exercise caution and avoid falling for unidentified numbers posing as them. Both actresses are doing incredibly well professionally in spite of this unsettling online drama. Rukmini, who is still enjoying the success of Kantara, is getting ready for a big movie with Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel, and Shriya recently starred in Mirai with Teja Sajja.
