Nearly 2 Lakh Apply for New Pensions in Andhra Pradesh in Two Days

Nearly two lakh people have applied for new pensions in Andhra Pradesh in just two days. Applicants seeking to benefit from the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme have been approaching Swarna Gram and Swarna Ward Sachivalayams to submit applications and obtain the required documents. However, the process was disrupted on Tuesday after the AP Seva Portal server developed technical problems.

The portal remained inaccessible for several hours in many areas, with intermittent functioning reported between 11 am and 5 pm. As a result, applicants had to wait for long periods at village and ward secretariats as well as MeeSeva centres to obtain the documents required for submitting applications. The server-related difficulties caused inconvenience to a large number of people seeking to apply for new pensions.
