Rakul Reveals the Real Reason Behind Her Film Debut

Rakul Preet Singh, who established herself as one of Telugu cinema's leading actresses with films such as Venkatadri Express, Loukyam, Nannaku Prematho and Dhruva, has opened up about the beginning of her acting journey. The actress said she had never planned to enter films, but an unexpected opportunity came her way while she was studying in college. She received an offer to act in the Kannada film Gilli and was promised a remuneration of Rs. 5 lakh.

Rakul shared that buying her own car was her biggest dream at the time, and the attractive payment convinced her to accept the project. She eventually purchased a car even before many of her friends did. After completing her graduation, she made her Telugu debut and gradually emerged as one of the industry's most successful actresses, proving that one unexpected decision changed her life forever.
