Kartikeya’s New Avatar as a Director?

Young actor Kartikeya Gummakonda shot to fame with ‘RX 100’ and went on to appear in diverse films such as ‘Guna 369’, ‘Gang Leader’, ‘Valimai’ and ‘Bedurulanka 2012’. After ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ in 2024, there had been no major announcement from the actor, creating curiosity among his fans. During this break, Kartikeya is reportedly said to have focused on developing a story of his own.

Kartikeya has now decided to explore a new role as a filmmaker alongside acting. His upcoming film, in which he will reportedly play the lead and also make his directorial debut, was launched with a pooja ceremony today. The project is being produced under the Kartikeya Creative Works banner. The makers are expected to announce the complete details soon, while regular shooting is scheduled to begin next month. There is considerable interest in seeing how Kartikeya handles both acting and direction in this new venture.
