Dil Raju Reveals: Pawan Kalyan Gave Up Remuneration for ‘Vakeel Saab’

Popular producer Dil Raju has revealed an interesting detail about Jana Sena Party chief and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Speaking at the pre-release event of The Paradise, starring Nani, Dil Raju said that Pawan Kalyan had given up ₹5 crore of his remuneration for him during the making of Vakeel Saab.

Dil Raju recalled that the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic was severe around the time of Vakeel Saab’s release, and producers faced financial difficulties due to restrictions on theatres. During those challenging circumstances, Pawan Kalyan decided not to take the ₹5 crore remuneration that was still due to him, he said.

“Pawan has a great quality of understanding the situation and supporting the producer so that he does not suffer losses. That’s Power Star,” Dil Raju praised from the stage. He also lauded Pawan Kalyan for taking the initiative to support the producer during a difficult period.
