

Atukulu rice payasam is considered a highly nutritious and healthy dessert. Milk helps strengthen the body and bones, while jaggery provides iron and instant energy. This traditional sweet can be consumed by both children and adults as a wholesome food.
For preparation, half a cup of rice, half a cup of atukulu (rice flakes), one liter of milk, quarter kg jaggery or sugar, ghee, raisins, cashews, cardamom powder, coconut flakes, and sago are used. First, soak and cook the rice and atukulu. Boil the milk and add the cooked mixture. Then add jaggery, followed by ghee-fried dry fruits. Finally, add cardamom and coconut to prepare a delicious and healthy payasam.
