Allu Arjun–Atlee’s Raaka Reportedly Delayed

Allu Arjun and Atlee’s much-awaited Raaka is progressing at a brisk pace, but the project is reportedly facing some delay due to the extensive VFX and graphics work involved. According to industry buzz, the film may have moved out of the 2027 Christmas release race. The makers are now said to be considering bringing the film to theatres during Republic Day or the summer of 2028. However, an official release date is expected to be announced only after the shooting is completed.

The team is reportedly aiming to wrap up the entire shoot by March or April next year. Following that, the makers plan to allocate considerable time for VFX and graphics to ensure the large-scale visual elements meet expectations. Produced by Sun Pictures on a lavish budget, the film features Deepika Padukone in a key role. With the project carrying high expectations, audiences are eagerly awaiting further updates on its shooting progress and release plans.
