Mega hero Sai Durgha Tej is reportedly gearing up for another interesting project alongside his upcoming film Sambaraala Yetigattu. According to industry reports, director Teja Kakumanu, who earned recognition for the web series Save the Tigers, is set to helm this new forest-based action drama. The project is reportedly being produced by Anil Sunkara, and its pooja ceremony is said to have already taken place. The story is expected to unfold primarily in a forest setting, with nature and wildlife playing significant roles. A tiger is reportedly central to the narrative, setting the film apart from conventional commercial action dramas.
The movie is expected to feature intense action sequences set in the forest, along with extensive graphics and visual effects. Reports suggest that the team has also focused on pre-visualisation to portray the tiger-related sequences convincingly. Meanwhile, Sapthami Gowda, who rose to nationwide recognition with Kantara, is reportedly being considered for the female lead opposite Sai Durgha Tej. She has also appeared in The Vaccine War and the Telugu film Thammudu, starring Nithiin. However, her involvement in this project has not yet been officially confirmed. Sai Durgha Tej is also preparing for Sambaraala Yetigattu, directed by Rohith KP and produced by K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under PrimeShow Entertainment. The film features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead, with Srikanth, Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar and Ananya Nagalla in key roles. Sai Tej will reportedly appear as Bali, and the film is scheduled for release on January 12, 2027, during Sankranti.
