Naga Chaitanya’s hit supernatural thriller series Dhootha is gearing up for its much-awaited second season. After the success of the first season released in 2023, expectations for Dhootha 2 have risen significantly among digital audiences. The new season has officially gone on floors, with Nagarjuna attending the launch ceremony as the chief guest. Directed by Vikram K. Kumar, the series also marks Naga Chaitanya’s debut venture as a producer.

Parvathy Thiruvothu and Priya Bhavani Shankar are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, reports suggest that actress Bhumika Chawla may play a key role in the series. If confirmed, it will mark another collaboration between Naga Chaitanya and Bhumika after Savyasachi. However, the makers have not yet issued an official confirmation regarding her casting.
