Indian watchmaker Titan has entered the Guinness World Records by completing the deepest underwater product photoshoot ever conducted for the launch of its Zero Hour 500M Professional Diver’s watch. A team of five expert divers carried out the shoot at a depth of 52.1 meters below the ocean surface near Phuket, Thailand, with only a 20 minute window to capture images under extreme open water conditions.
The company conducted the test in real deep sea conditions instead of a controlled laboratory to demonstrate the durability and reliability of its new timepiece. Titan said the experiment proves that the watch can withstand extreme underwater pressure and compete with some of the world’s best professional diving watches.
