Terror Attack on Anantnag Road Leaves Policeman Injured

A terrorist attack took place on the Kokernag–Anantnag Road in South Kashmir, targeting security personnel. During the attack, a Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel sustained critical injuries and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Security forces responded swiftly by returning fire at the attackers.

Following the exchange of fire, the terrorists managed to escape from the area. Additional security personnel were rushed to the location, and a massive search operation has been launched to track down those responsible. Authorities are maintaining heightened security in the region as the operation continues.
