Telangana Eagle Force Earns National Recognition for Anti-Drug Efforts

Telangana Police has earned national recognition for its efforts to combat drug trafficking and substance abuse. The state’s Narcotics Bureau and Eagle Force secured more than 80% marks across seven parameters prescribed by the Union Government for assessing the performance of Anti-Narcotics Task Forces.

Eagle Force Director Sandeep Shandilya received the national level award on behalf of Telangana Police from Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the third National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force Heads in New Delhi on Tuesday. The conference was organised under the aegis of the Narcotics Control Bureau. Telangana DGP C.V. Anand congratulated Sandeep Shandilya and the Eagle Force personnel for the recognition.
