Supreme Court Serious Over Pellet Gun Use

The Supreme Court heard a petition concerning the protests held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and expressed serious concern over allegations that metallic pellet guns were used against protesting students. The issue witnessed intense arguments during the court proceedings.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court directed the Central Government to preserve the RAF ammunition logs from the July 20 deployment. It also instructed the Delhi Government to provide immediate medical assistance to injured students. The matter has been adjourned for further hearing until Tuesday.
