

The Yoga Andhra program was organized on the banks of the Krishna River at Beram Park in Vijayawada under the leadership of Collector Lakshmisha. Representatives from print, electronic, and social media, along with students, participated in the event and performed yoga asanas. The Collector urged everyone to contribute towards building a healthy, wealthy, and happy Andhra Pradesh by making yoga a part of their daily lives.
Speaking on the occasion, Lakshmisha said that dedicating just 45 minutes a day to yoga can help improve physical and mental well being. He also announced that state level International Yoga Day celebrations will be held on June 21 at VMC Stadium and Ambedkar Kala Vedika in Vijayawada, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and other dignitaries expected to participate. Similar Yoga Andhra celebrations were also held in Kuchipudi, where officials highlighted the many health benefits of yoga.
