Software Employee Dies by Suicide After Jumping from Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge

A 25-year-old software employee from Visakhapatnam allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge in Hyderabad. The deceased was identified as Rajesh. According to Madhapur police, he was staying at a hostel in Nacharam and had visited Ayyappa Society in Madhapur on Monday to meet his friends. He later went to the cable bridge and jumped into Durgam Cheruvu.

Based on a complaint filed by Rajesh’s sister, Madhapur police registered a case and launched an investigation. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Disaster Response Force (DRF) began searching the lake for his body. Police said the reason behind the incident remains unknown, and further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
