The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) is reportedly facing transportation challenges ahead of a Congress rally scheduled to take place in Delhi. According to the information provided, South Central Railway has indicated that it cannot provide special trains to transport the party cadre. The state Congress leadership is considering how to move an estimated 10,000 to 15,000 workers to the national capital, with the lack of special train services complicating its plans.
With the journey from Hyderabad to Delhi taking approximately 36 hours by train, the PCC is reportedly considering buses as an alternative. The leadership is planning to begin the journey from Hyderabad on October 30 to facilitate the workers’ participation in the rally. The PCC chief is said to be in regular contact with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss the arrangements. Further details about the final transport plan and the number of workers travelling are yet to be confirmed.
