Schedule Announced for AP Local Elections

The Andhra Pradesh government has made a key announcement regarding local body elections, giving the green signal for municipal and panchayat polls. A clear schedule has been outlined, with municipal elections set to begin in the second week of September, followed by panchayat elections in the second week of October. The government aims to complete the entire election process in phases within 40 days.

The state administration is actively preparing for the smooth conduct of these elections. As per the plan, municipal polls will be conducted first, followed by MPTC and ZPTC elections. Panchayat elections will be held in the final phase. Officials stated that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure a transparent and efficient electoral process.
