

Heat intensity has increased significantly across the state by the end of this month. On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Karakagudem of Bhadradri Kothagudem district reached 41.8°C, the highest recorded in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature on the same day last year was 41.2°C.
The situation remains severe across the state, with temperatures exceeding 41°C in 11 districts, while another 13 districts recorded daytime temperatures above 40°C. As per the weather department’s forecast, similar conditions are likely to persist over the next three days with no significant change.
Meanwhile, a tragic incident has also been reported due to the extreme heat. Kalavale Vijay (38), a resident of Tadihatnur village in Narnur Mandal of Adilabad district, reportedly died due to heatstroke, according to his family members and village sarpanch Rathod Dileep.
