

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has once again written to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy seeking intervention in resolving pending issues related to the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. In his letter, the Chief Minister requested the arrangement of a meeting with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss key matters, including the Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 expansion and the release of IRFC funding. He referred to his earlier communication dated June 16 and stressed the need for speedy resolution of the pending issues.
The Chief Minister informed that he would be visiting New Delhi on June 22 and 23 and expressed his willingness to meet both Kishan Reddy and Ashwini Vaishnaw to hold detailed discussions on the project. Revanth Reddy described the Hyderabad Metro as a crucial urban infrastructure project for Telangana and Hyderabad. He also stated that he would carry all relevant agreements and documents for the discussions and requested that the meeting be arranged at the earliest.
