A case has been registered at Addanki Police Station in Prakasam district against YouTuber Ramanandana for allegedly collecting lakhs of rupees by promising a London job. U. Srinivasa Rao of Perayapalem said Ramanandana assured his daughter in law that she could get a job in London and claimed to have helped several others secure jobs there. She reportedly demanded Rs.10.50 lakh for the process.
Based on the assurance, the family initially transferred Rs.1 lakh to a bank account suggested by her and later paid Rs.9.50 lakh in cash. However, she allegedly failed to arrange the promised job and did not return the money despite repeated requests. Realising that they had been cheated, Srinivasa Rao approached the police. A cheating case was registered against her on July 4. Meanwhile, police issued a notice to Ramanandana on Friday, directing her to appear for an inquiry at Addanki Police Station on the 17th of this month.
