

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the United States and paid tribute to those who lost their lives. On the occasion, Modi highlighted India’s commitment to combating terrorism and said the country continues to remain at the forefront of the fight against the threat. He stressed the importance of strengthening international efforts to counter terrorism and ensuring greater global cooperation against extremist violence.
Modi also shared photographs from his visit to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum during his US visit in 2014. Remembering the victims of the attacks, he paid his respects and reiterated India’s commitment to the global fight against terrorism. He emphasized that terrorism remains a serious threat to global peace and security and said India will continue to work with the international community to counter the menace.
