Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with one of Slovakia’s highest civilian honours, marking another major international recognition for his leadership. The award, titled “The Order of the Double Cross”, was presented by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, highlighting strengthening diplomatic ties between India and Slovakia.
The Prime Minister stated that the honour belongs to 140 crore Indians and dedicated it to the long-standing friendship between India and Slovakia. With this recognition, PM Modi has now received 33 international awards. He has also completed over 100 foreign visits since assuming office, having visited 78 countries so far, reflecting India’s expanding global engagement.
