Pawan Kalyan Urges Citizens to Make Cleanliness a Way of Life on World Sanitation Day

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared a message on X on the occasion of World Sanitation Day, stressing that cleanliness is not solely the responsibility of sanitation workers or government agencies. He said clean streets do not begin with a broom but with responsible citizens. Pawan Kalyan called on people to make cleanliness a part of their everyday lifestyle and contribute actively to maintaining clean and healthy surroundings. The emphasis on citizen participation is also reflected in the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, which focuses on collective responsibility and sustained cleanliness practices.

Pawan Kalyan further urged citizens to segregate waste at its source and reduce the use of plastic. He stressed that individual actions can contribute to broader cleanliness efforts when adopted collectively. The Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign is also promoting source segregation, responsible waste management, plastic reduction and public participation as key components of its nationwide cleanliness drive.
