Our Government Considers It a Responsibility to Present Telangana Gaddar Film Awards - CM Revanth Reddy

At the Gaddar Film Awards 2025 event, Revanth Reddy stated that presenting these awards is a responsibility of the government and a tribute to Gaddar. He emphasized that Hyderabad is not just known for IT and food, but has also emerged as a major center for the film industry. He credited legends like N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, D. Ramanaidu, and Krishna Ghattamaneni for taking Telugu cinema to great heights.

He also acknowledged the contributions of Ramoji Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao in strengthening the film industry. The Chief Minister said the government aims to develop Hyderabad into a global film hub, noting that platforms like Netflix setting up operations in the city reflects its growing importance. He added that cinema is a powerful medium to inspire social change and urged filmmakers to create meaningful content that addresses societal issues.
