

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that stringent measures against drug cartels are continuing across the country. He revealed that an international drug cartel was busted during a special operation conducted by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai.
During this operation, officials seized 349 kilograms of high-quality cocaine valued at approximately ₹1,745 crore. He explained that the investigation was expanded based on leads regarding small-scale drug trafficking at the ground level, ultimately leading to the exposure of the international cartel.
Describing this success as historic, Amit Shah congratulated the Narcotics Control Bureau team for successfully completing the operation. He made it clear that such measures to curb the spread of narcotics within the country would continue with even greater rigor.
