A major train accident was narrowly avoided in Maharashtra after the Mumbai Solapur Vande Bharat Express derailed near Pune railway station. Since the train was moving at low speed at the time of the incident, no casualties were reported. Officials confirmed that all passengers were safe.
According to preliminary information, a technical fault near the diamond crossing close to the station may have caused the derailment. Railway engineering teams rushed to the spot and began restoration work to place the affected coaches back on track. The incident caused minor disruption to train services passing through Pune.
