Kodali Nani Claims Credit for Bhogapuram Airport Project

YSRCP leader and former minister Kodali Nani has claimed that the Bhogapuram International Airport project was implemented primarily during the tenure of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government. Addressing the media, he alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu government had only laid the foundation stone before elections without completing land acquisition or making financial commitments for the project.

Kodali Nani stated that the YSRCP government spent around ₹1,000 crore on land acquisition, relocated affected villagers with compensation, secured necessary clearances and awarded the project to GMR, enabling construction to begin. He also criticised the recent inauguration event, alleging that it was intended to claim political credit. The Telugu Desam Party has not issued a response to these allegations.
