Kim Jong Un Warns of Nuclear Retaliation Against Any Attack

North Korea is strengthening its naval capabilities and expanding its nuclear response systems. Leader Kim Jong Un announced that the newly commissioned 5,000-ton-class destroyer Kang Kon has been integrated into the country’s nuclear response system. He said the warship is capable of carrying out what he described as “destructive counterattacks” against hostile attacks.

Kim warned that the deployment of the destroyer in waters around the Korean Peninsula would send a strong message to adversaries. He also stressed that North Korea would continue strengthening its naval forces and nuclear deterrence capabilities, while maintaining a firm stance against any potential military threat.
