

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao paid tributes to renowned poet and Telangana literary icon Kaloji Narayana Rao on his birth anniversary. KTR described Kaloji as a great personality who lived by making the struggles and concerns of the people his own. He highlighted Kaloji’s contribution to creating public awareness against authoritarianism and oppression through his writings and activism.
KTR also recalled Kaloji’s significant contribution to the Telangana language and literary movement. He said Kaloji demonstrated that Telangana language was not merely the language of textbooks but a language rooted in the people and their everyday expressions. KTR further remembered that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had designated Kaloji’s birth anniversary as Telangana Language Day, honouring his contribution to the region’s language and culture.
