Is This the Reward for a Father’s Love?

A father who devoted his entire life to raising his three daughters and helping them achieve success spent his final days in an old age home. The emotional incident took place at Samaj Kalyan Shiksha Samiti Old Age Home in West Ram Nagar, Sonipat, Haryana. Shivcharan Ram Ratan Gupta passed away while waiting for his daughters to see him one last time.

Shivcharan, who was once a textile businessman in Mumbai, had no sons and considered his three daughters his entire world. He worked hard for their education and future, and his eldest daughter became a teacher. Years ago, he moved to the old age home with his wife, who later passed away. As his health deteriorated, the old age home authorities informed his daughters about his critical condition, but none of them visited him.

After his death, the daughters expressed their inability to travel to Sonipat and watched their father’s last rites through a video call. The funeral was performed by the old age home staff and local residents. Despite being left alone in his final moments, Shivcharan donated his eyes after his death, fulfilling his wish to bring light into another person’s life.
