India Is Progressing Rapidly on the Path of Development Under Modi’s Leadership: Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Varanasi–Vadnagar Seva Sankalp Abhiyan programme in Varanasi. The month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, being organised from September 17 to October 17, marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life. Addressing the gathering in Hindi, Chandrababu said it was a matter of pride for him to stand on the sacred land of Kashi. He said Varanasi had not only elected Modi as its representative but had also given the country a leader. Chandrababu highlighted welfare and development initiatives, including free foodgrain distribution, drinking-water schemes and PM-Kisan, while crediting the Modi government with strengthening initiatives such as Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India. He also referred to developments in startups, space, drones, semiconductors, quantum technology and robotics, saying these sectors were creating new opportunities for the youth.

Chandrababu also spoke about women’s empowerment initiatives and referred to the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which provides for one-third reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies, subject to the constitutional implementation process. He praised the armed forces and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while referring to Operation Sindoor. On Ayodhya, Chandrababu said the construction of the Ram Temple had been completed and stated that he would request Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to allocate 10 acres for a Sri Venkateswara temple in Ayodhya. He also called for linking major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, Ganga, Mahanadi, Cauvery and Godavari. Chandrababu said Andhra Pradesh was strengthening the NDA partnership and acknowledged the Centre’s support for projects such as Amaravati and Polavaram.
