Helicopter Showers Flowers on Ganesh Idol in Hindupur

Ganesh immersion celebrations were held with grandeur in Hindupur of Sri Sathya Sai district. As Garidi Ganapathi completed 50 years, a helicopter was used to shower flowers on the Ganesh idol as part of the celebrations. A helicopter was specially brought from Bengaluru for the event. The flower shower was conducted from the NTR Junction, attracting thousands of people who gathered to witness the spectacle.

Ganesh idols had been installed across Hindupur for seven days, with devotees performing special prayers during the festive period. The immersion processions began on Sunday morning, with large numbers of devotees participating in the celebrations. The processions passed through the main streets of the town amid devotional chants and festive activities.

Devotees added to the festive atmosphere with traditional Kolatam performances and dances during the procession. The helicopter flower shower organised to mark 50 years of Garidi Ganapathi became a major attraction. Thousands of people gathered to watch the special event, turning Hindupur into a vibrant festive centre.
